We’re delighted to welcome Anisha Rose Chacko to the LFH Regulatory team as our new Clinical Consultant. We sat down with Anisha to learn more about her background, what inspired her move to LFH, and what she’s most looking forward to in her new role.
Can you tell us a little about your background and what brought you to LFH Regulatory?
I hold a PhD in Life Science from Hull York Medical School (University of Hull) and have a strong interest in science, emerging technologies, and enhancing individual wellbeing. I am particularly interested by roles that combine scientific rigour with real-world impact. I was drawn to LFH Regulatory because it brings all of these elements together. As a rapidly growing MedTech consultancy, LFH Regulatory operates at the intersection of science, technology, and patient-centred outcomes. It provides an environment where I can help clients navigate the complex regulatory and clinical landscape.
What attracted you to the world of regulatory affairs and medical devices?
The world of regulatory affairs and medical devices is a field where complex science and technology directly translate into products that improve people’s lives. I enjoy the challenge of ensuring that innovative medical technologies are not only effective, but also safe, compliant, and supported by strong clinical evidence.
What will your role involve, and what are you most looking forward to working on?
My role will involve supporting clients with the clinical aspects of their devices, including evidence generation, clinical strategy, and meeting regulatory expectations. I am looking forward to collaborating with clients and working on devices where the work leads to meaningful outcomes for patients.
Are there any particular projects or areas of regulation you’re especially passionate about?
I am particularly passionate about AI-driven and emerging software-based medical technologies, where robust clinical evidence is key to demonstrating meaningful patient benefit. I’m excited by the challenge of navigating evolving regulatory expectations and developing clinical strategies for innovations that have the potential to transform patient care.
How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
I love travelling and exploring different cultures, cities, and discovering unique food spots along the way. I also enjoy tackling DIY projects, though I am not always the most skilled, I love the creativity and challenge they bring.
What’s one fun fact about you that your new colleagues might not know?
I am always up for an adventure, even if it pushes me slightly out of my comfort zone, whether that is skydiving in Dubai or playing the flute as part of an orchestra at the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic.
