Celebrating team anniversaries at LFH Regulatory: A Q&A with Helen and Josephine

As we get ready to celebrate our fifth anniversary here at LFH Regulatory, we’re proud to highlight two remarkable members of our team who are also marking their own milestones. Join us in congratulating Helen Goerge, our dedicated Business Manager, on her one-year anniversary, and Josephine Shonaike, our Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Consultant, on her fantastic two years with us. Check out our short Q&A below as they share their experiences and insights!

Q: How long have you been with the company?

Helen: I’ll be celebrating my one-year anniversary on 17th May!

Josephine: I’ve had the pleasure of being part of the team for just over two years now.

Q: Can you give us a glimpse into what your day-to-day responsibilities entail?

Helen: My days are dynamic, to say the least! From engaging with new clients to managing regulatory and quality projects and providing IT support, no two days are the same. Plus, I get to dip my toes into marketing activities, which adds an exciting dimension to my role.

Issuing proposals is another crucial part of the job. Creating compelling proposals that outline our services and value proposition is essential in demonstrating why LFH is the perfect partner for our clients’ needs.

Josephine: As a Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Consultant, my days revolve around supporting clients in navigating regulatory pathways for their medical devices and IVDs. This includes everything from project management to technical documentation, ensuring compliance every step of the way.

Day to day this can involve managing various client project-related tasks, attending client meetings to discuss project progress, performing documentation gap assessments and creating or reviewing client documentation such as performance evaluations, clinical evaluations or technical files.

Q: What do you enjoy most about being part of the LFH Regulatory team?

Helen: The variety! Working in a fast-paced environment alongside a supportive team where creativity is encouraged makes every day fulfilling. I also love having autonomy to manage my tasks and make changes to processes quickly, it’s great to be a part of that progress. Being able to get involved in marketing activities and client engagements are another added bonus!

Josephine: I couldn’t agree more, the team culture! It’s great to work alongside such a friendly and supportive team. We all bring different strengths and expertise to the table, which allows us to work amazingly well together.

Q: What are some of the challenges you face in your role?

Helen: Juggling multiple tasks can be a balancing act at times, especially when it comes to finding new avenues for brand awareness and new methods to sell. But it’s all part of the journey!

Josephine: The world of regulation is pretty dynamic and fast-changing! Managing project timelines and expectations, especially during busy periods, can be a test. But seeing everything come together in the end makes it totally worth it!

Q: What are some of your proudest moments so far?

Helen: I get most pleasure from client interactions, in identifying needs and specifying solutions. So, it is personally satisfying when I onboard a new client, that’s definitely a highlight for me. Oh, and our management team also embrace fresh ideas and suggestions by allowing change to happen quickly.

Josephine: Despite juggling multiple projects at times, it’s incredibly rewarding when we see our hard work pay off and receive positive feedback from both internally and from our lovely clients. And the team socials!
