2024 marked a year of significant investment in LFH Regulatory’s future. From a comprehensive rebrand and new website to enhancing internal processes, every step has been designed to strengthen our business and elevate the support we provide to our clients.
- Rebrand: More than just a fresh look, our rebrand symbolises our evolution over the past five years—from a one-woman consultancy to a thriving business of nearly 10 skilled professionals. The new branding reflects our forward-thinking approach, innovation, and unwavering focus on client satisfaction.
- Website: Designed with our clients in mind, the new website offers a more intuitive, user-friendly experience. Its streamlined navigation, enhanced resources, and responsive design make accessing regulatory guidance and connecting with our team easier than ever.
- Team Building: The entire LFH team gathered in London for an enriching team-building event focused on project management and client relations. We explored strategies to manage client expectations more effectively, ensuring a seamless, positive customer journey.
Celebrating Five Years of Success
In June, we proudly celebrated our fifth anniversary. What began as founder Laura Friedl-Hirst’s vision in 2019 has grown into a leading consultancy, guiding clients through the complexities of regulatory compliance in the medical device and diagnostic industries.
Awards and Recognition
This year, our commitment to excellence and innovation was recognised through several notable achievements:
- Gender Inclusive Employer of the Year by FemTech World, celebrating our dedication to diversity and inclusivity.
- The Eaton Smith Business of the Month Award, recognising our service excellence and innovative approach.
- Finalist at The BizX UK Awards for Best Personal Growth, reflecting the dedication of our team and our focus on fostering a culture of growth and achievement.
Expanding the Team
This year saw significant growth, with the addition of Alexander Madell, Faiza Jabeen, Amrita Bansal, and Zara Malik to the team. Their expertise in quality assurance and regulatory affairs strengthens our ability to support clients and positions us to embrace future opportunities.
Thought Leadership and Industry Impact
Managing Director Laura Friedl-Hirst continued to establish herself as a respected voice in the regulatory field, publishing thought leadership articles in trade publications and offering invaluable guidance on complex regulatory topics. Additionally, LFH partnered with Health Innovation East as part of their Innovation Academy, providing expert advice on quality assurance and regulatory compliance to industry innovators.
Building Connections and Representing LFH
This year, we strengthened our presence in the industry by attending several key events:
- At the Med Tech Expo in Birmingham, we showcased our capabilities and made valuable new connections. Laura delivered a talk on “From feasibility through to device launch: When should you consider RA/QA?”
- In November, we returned to the MEDICA trade fair, one of the world’s largest healthcare events, demonstrating how we simplify UK and EU regulatory pathways for innovators.
- Zara Malik represented LFH at the University of Nottingham, inspiring master’s students with her journey into Regulatory Affairs and highlighting career opportunities beyond research.
Strengthening Partnerships
Collaboration remained central to our work. This year, we partnered with Project Dragon, supporting Project Youth Cancer to contribute to care and research for young people across the UK.
Looking Ahead to 2025
As we reflect on a year of growth, investment, and achievement, we extend our gratitude to our clients, partners, and team. The milestones we’ve reached in 2024 set the foundation for even greater success in the year ahead. In 2025, we look forward to continuing our mission of simplifying regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of inclusivity, innovation, and excellence.
Thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to a new year filled with progress, growth, and shared success!
